Clinical Psychologist
Dr Jessica Bragg is a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist working with individuals across the lifespan. She completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) at Lancaster University, having previously gained a Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at University College London and a degree in Psychology from Cardiff University.
Jess works in an integrative and flexible way, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), systemic approaches, and brief solution-focused therapy. She has particular expertise in working with eating disorders and uses CBT-E (enhanced CBT) to support individuals in developing a healthier relationship with food and themselves.
Jess has experience working with children, teenagers, adults, and new and expectant parents within perinatal settings. She supports individuals with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, and has a particular interest in helping people explore their identity, including where neurodiversity may be part of their experience.
At the heart of Jess’s work is the importance of building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. She takes a collaborative and compassionate approach, working alongside clients to develop a shared understanding of their difficulties and create meaningful, personalised goals. Jess regularly reviews progress with clients to ensure therapy is helpful and on track, with a focus on equipping people with the tools, insight, and confidence to continue moving forward long after therapy has ended.
