Get your session covered by your private healthcare insurance

Getting your sessions covered by your private healthcare insurance provider is usually quick and easy. We will guide you through the process; please see below for a brief overview of what the process will involve:

  1. Contact your health insurance provider with the name of the therapist you are assigned and let your insurer know that you wish to start therapy with them and request to have sessions authorised. They may authorise only a few sessions initially with the potential to authorise further following receipt of a written report from your therapist.

  2. They will provide you with an authorisation code for a specific number of sessions. When you book your assessment session through your client portal, in our intake form, you will be asked to provide the following details concerning your insurance cover:

  • Your full name and date of birth

  • Your policy number

  • The authorisation code

  • The number of sessions offered by your health insurance provider

Please note that insurance providers do not cover the fees of missed sessions, and you are responsible for paying for missed/cancelled or rescheduled sessions where you didn’t give us at least 48 hours’ notice. These will be invoiced to you directly and must be paid on receipt.

Why Is It important to reach out to your health insurance provider and ask to cover your sessions?

Insurance RWC

One in four people has some emotional or mental health difficulty. These difficulties can significantly impact your emotions, thoughts, behaviours, and body, creating issues and impacting your day-to-day life and relationships.

At Resilient Wellbeing Clinic, we conceptualise your difficulties as normal and natural reactions to difficult experiences or life circumstances, past or present. Not one approach works for everyone.

Every person is unique, and we believe that a therapeutic relationship that values and respects this uniqueness causes positive change.

We specialise in a range of evidence-based therapy and counselling approaches and theoretical models, including, Psychodynamic therapy, Person-centred and CBT therapy.

We apply research evidence and theory to assess and address the difficulties you bring to therapy and develop a tailored approach to your specific needs.
