Clinical Psychologist
Suzanne is an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. Suzanne completed an MSc in Psychiatric Research at King College London before going on to complete a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at University College London.
Suzanne has been working in the NHS for a number of years, mostly within secondary adult mental health services, as well as specialist psychosis and perinatal services. She is currently working for a Mental Health Integrated Network Team, which aims to bridge the gap between primary and secondary care services.
Suzanne works sensitively and compassionately with her clients to ensure they are receiving intervention and care that best meets their needs. She takes time to build collaborative therapeutic relationships and works integratively to tailor sessions to the needs of her clients. Suzanne uses a range of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) techniques, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Through her work, Suzanne has experience working with a wide range of presenting mental health difficulties, including trauma and complex trauma, emotional regulation, anxiety, low mood and psychosis. She is also interested in working with women within the pre and post-natal period, as this can be a time of significant stress and change for women and families. Suzanne accumulated years of experience and expertise in providing high-quality psychological therapy for a large variety of psychological difficulties, including but not limited to:
